Davy Crockett Nation Forest Trail Ride

March 1-3 2024 

Come join us to ride the 50+ miles of marked trails of the Piney Creek Horse Trail in the Davy Crockett National Forest.  We will be camped at the beautiful TbarS Horse Camp at 6387 FM 2781 Kennard, TX 75847

Friday 6:00-8:00 Check In and Meet N Greet at the pavilion–please bring an appetizer to share.

Saturday 9:30 Group Ride (approximately 3 hours) or ride on your own

Lunch and afternoon ride on your own 

6:00 Potluck dinner, TETRA providing the main course and paper goods.

Sunday 9:30 Group Ride (approximately 2 hours) or ride on your own

Break camp and depart by 1 PM

FEES: The TETRA ride fee is $20.00 for members $35.00 for non-members. Children 18 years of age and younger are no charge and must be accompanied by a paying riding adult. Day Rider fee is $15.00/day, Meals/non-rider, $10. Please register at   tetratrails.org pay online or onsite by check.

Ride and Park Rules: Current negative Coggins required, all dogs must be on leash and are not allowed on trails, horses who are prone to kick must have a red flag on their tail. For Davy Crockett Park and Piney Creek trails information, maps, rules and fees, call 936-655-2299 or go to recreation.gov.  Account will be credited for future rides if cancelled. To request a refund, minus an administrative fee of 10%, please email tetrassoc@gmail.com.
