TETRA Region 8 Benefit Ride

Willis Creek Park Granger Lake

May 6 - 8, 2022

Join us for great riding at Willis Creek Park, Granger Lake. Enjoy grassy, meandering trails through trees and open pastures with access to the lake. Livestock will be grazing, but they are used to horses. Several gates on the trails must be left as they are found.

Primitive camping at no charge for TETRA ride participants, with horse water available. Please only use a small area for your pens. (This is a contracted event with the Corps of Engineers and TETRA, primitive camping is only allowed under these circumstances).

This is a benefit ride.  All donations are to maintain Willis Creek Park trails.  TETRA Members $20 and non-members $25. Horse Pens for weekend - $10. Consider additional donation amounts to contribute to the mowing and upkeep of the trails for this park.

Bring an item for a silent auction.  This is a great way to help raise funds to maintain this great park.  All items are welcome.  If you bring used tack, please bring it clean.  This is a great way to purge some unused items or new items.

There are 8 horse pens available.  Registered riders can reserve pens by texting Debbie Sannwaldt at 512-864-4336. Pay upon arrival.

  • Friday 4:00PM:  Check in sign liability release (bring your signed release), current Coggins, and provide donations for pens and registration by check. Register at tetratrails.org. Corps of Engineers Day Use Fee is waived for participants on this weekend.
