  • Those coming to ride with us for the day. No meals are included.
  • Non-TETRA member attending for the weekend.
  • Individual TETRA members attending for the weekend.

   Mineola Nature Preserve Trailride

                   March 16-18,2012

                            Region 5

The ride will still be held if it rains the day before ride.  The parking lot is paved and the terrain of the trails is sandy.

Saturday morning Ride Out Time is 10:00.  Trail maps will be available.  There will be Trail Guides available to take groups of riders out on the trails for the Saturday morning ride. 

 

All RV sites and pens have been booked.  If you are unable to attend and have reserved a pen or RV site please let me know.  I have others on a waiting list.

The camping area  amenities will include  public showers and toilets.

· Day Rider: $10.00 - Persons attending Saturday ride only. (No meals included)

· TETRA Member: $35.00 - For individual TETRA members attending for the weekend.

· Non-TETRA Member: $40.00 - Non-TETRA Member attending for the weekend.

Electric/Water/Sewer hook ups ( includes 2 pens) @ $25/ night.

 Primitive camping $5.00/ night.
Pen rental $5.00/night per pen.

The Equestrian Pavilion, (THE DERBY), has restrooms and showers.

Directions to East Texas:           From I-20, in Lindale, Texas, turn North on U.S. 69, about 14 miles, cross the Sabine River and then continue approximately 1.5 miles, turn right (east) on Loop 564: For the Equestrian Trail Head: About one fourth mile, turn right on first road right before County Road 2724 at the street for the water treatment plant. The signs at the top of the hill note horse trailer parking.

Via U.S. 69 from Greenville/Alba Texas and also from U.S. Hwy 37: Continue through Mineola, proceed south until sign for Loop 564 is observed. Go underneath the overpass to Loop 564.

About one fourth mile, turn right on first road before County Road 2724. Turn in at the street for the water treatment plant. The signs at the top of the hill note horse trailer parking.

Via U.S. Hwy 80, traveling west from Hawkins , Texas : Go under the overpass for Loop 564, immediately turn right (north) and follows signs to Loop 564. Continue right (south) on Loop 564. It is the first street past County Road County Road 2724. Turn left at the street for the water treatment plant. Parking area for horse trailers is at the top of the hill.

Via U.S. Hwy 80, traveling east from Grand Saline, Texas: Continue through Mineola to the intersection of U.S. Hwy 69. Turn right (south) on U.S. 69. Proceed south until sign for Loop 564 is observed. Go underneath the overpass to Loop 564. About one fourth mile, turn right on first road before County Road 2724. Turn in at the street for the water treatment plant. The signs at the top of the hill note horse trailer parking.
