Thanks for the overwhelming response to Volunteer at the Outreach Ride. We have plenty of volunteers! If you would like to come out and ride with us, you are welcome to come join the fun!

Due to the limited plug-ins, electricity for this event is reserved for volunteers. As you call me to volunteer, I will reserve a spot for you. If you wish to just ride, there will be primitive camping available. Remember, if you want to volunteer, we will need a release form days before the event. Please don’t arrive at Parrie Haynes on the first day and ask to volunteer. We love to have your help but are restricted by the safety requirements.

The cost of the ride will be $75.00 for members and $100.00 for non-members for the week.

Due to another activity at this site, please don’t arrive before 2:00 p.m. on Sunday October 25.

Directions:  Parrie Haynes Ranch is a Texas Parks and Wildlife facility near Killeen, Texas. Take the Maxdale/FM 2670 exit off Hwy 195; a green sign will forewarn you about one mile before the turn.   There is a highway sign designating this as the Parrie Haynes Youth Ranch exit.  Go 3.9 miles on FM 2670 and turn right on Maxdale Road.  After 2/10 miles, turn left on Gann Branch.  At the intersection 1.3 miles later, veer right.  Half a mile down the road, take the left fork.  Go another .6 miles and you have arrived in the complex.  You will need to turn right into the parking lot and start looking for a spot to park your rig.  Wagon drivers all have reserved electricity and will park here.  If you don't have reserved electricity, please park at the shooting range just before you get to the "end of the road" where the tpwd office parking lot starts.  Confused???? call me at 512-517-9476
