Directions
From Marble Falls traveling from Highway 281, turn on 1431 east, drive 4 miles (towards Austin) until CR 343A & follow signs to Shaffer Bend.
From Cedar Park traveling from 183A, to FM 1431 west (towards Marble Falls), drive approximately 31 miles, turn left on CR 343 follow signs to Shaffer Bend.
The lovely ride location is a former historic ranch of 507 acres, with well marked areas through woods, pasture and lakeside trails. There are numerous scenic overviews of the Hill Country and Colorado River. The riding trails are mixed dirt, sand and small stones with some slightly steep and flat surfaces. Shoes or hoof boots recommended.
Ride leaves out at 10:00AM for about an hour and a half to two hour ride. An afternoon ride is planned to leave at 1:00 PM, riding for about the same amount of time.

Current Coggin’s Required
TETRA Liability release required for all attendees, form is available at check in.
Horses known to kick will need to have a red ribbon on their tail.
TETRA reserves the right to request owners with unmanageable horses to leave.
Fees
LCRA Day use equestrian fee-$12 pay at the park entrance gate using Self Serve Envelope or camp host if present.
TETRA member fee $10 adults
Non-member fee $15 adult-add $5 and receive one year membership, ride fee is waived.
Children 18 years of age and under, TETRA fee waived, must be accompanied by an adult.

No meals provided. Bring your lunch and join the fun bring a chair for socializing. br>
