TETRA members gathered on January 17, 2009 at Parrie Haynes Hilltop Complex for the 2009 annual member meeting. A special thanks goes out to all the members who took time out to come and be a part of it. The morning was started off by a presentation of the new TETRA Website. Cyndi Strickland’s introduction sparked a lot of excitement among the members. They were given an overview of the features and a brief tutorial on how to get the most out of it.

A fantastic lunch was prepared by Karl Cloninger and Becky Short. They prepared a meal fit for a king! The steaks and baked potatoes were great. Thank you!

Board Member elections were held. Gary Hahn was re-elected as president, Vivian Harvey was elected as 1st Vice President instead of 2nd Vice President, and Jan Price was re-elected as Treasurer. Thank you for giving TETRA another year of service! New officers elected included Juanita Brooks as Secretary and Sylvia Perry as 2nd Vice President. Thanks to you for taking on the challenge. Debby Alley stepped down after 3 years as Regional Director of Region 10 but remained on the Board as the new activities Chairperson. Geri Bischoff replaced Debby as Region 10 Director. Due to the lack of Directors for Regions 3, 4, 5, 11 & 12, Sara McMillan & Lynette Rabb volunteered to serve on the board along with other regional Directors, Billie Montgomery, Region 1; Jeanne Hahn, Region 7; Richard & Louise Burney, Region 8; and Teresa Chipman, Region 9. Thank you for dedicating your time, energy and effort to serve on TETRA’s Board. We have several areas who need directors and leadership. If you are up to the challenge, speak up and be heard!

In 2008 Several TETRA members stepped up to the challenge, went above and beyond the call of duty in dedication, volunteering and supporting and promoting TETRA. These members were recognized by receiving various awards.
