TETRA - Trail Riding for Everyone

TETRA Reception held at Briscoe Western Art Museum

San Antonio, Texas

On Saturday evening, August 23, 2014, the Briscoe Western Art Museum in San Antonio hosted a reception for TETRA members. Equestrians from the local riding community were also invited and many attended the event.

The museum is a great place to visit in downtown San Antonio. Ms. Lauren Shultz from the museum was our host and provided refreshments and snacks and also acted as tour guide for our group. Three floors of wonderful exhibits are expertly displayed, including famous saddles, spurs, guns, a stage coach, and of course, lots of western art. A number of attendees visited the River Walk before and after the reception and the many fine restaurants along the river. A few out of towners elected to stay over to enjoy the entire weekend. Although this was not our usual trail riding event (horses stayed home this time), it was a great way to get out of the heat in the middle of August and enjoy socializing with our friends in a cool and comfortable environment.

Let’s ride.
