TETRA - 2011 August Annual Poker Run at PHR

TETRA Annual Poker Run Held August 26-28, 2011

The poker ride held at Parrie Haynes ranch in August was well attended and a lot of fun. It was just like a regular trail ride except that when the riders take a water/shade break, they are handed a sealed up card in an envelope. At the end of the ride, all the cards are collected and the riders name is put on their envelopes, then the cards are looked at by a couple of guys, aka Gary Hahn and Ronnie Crouch, and the winners are announced. There were enough prizes available that everyone that entered won two things! We rode in the morning and avoided the heat as much as possible, and there was plenty of good food as usual!!
