Equestrian Trails

Work Day - April 5, 2014

 We are cleaning the trails for our upcoming ACTHA ride. You can trim trails from horse back or UTV (no ATV please).

Time:   9:00 at the Derby (the horse pavilion). 

Teams of horseback riders and people with UTV’s will be assigned trails.

Bring:  Tools, drinking water, hat, gloves, drink for lunch and a dish to share.

Tools needed: Pruning shears, and/or limb loppers, and/or handsaw, and/or
a chainsaw, portable drill.

Goals: Fix the loose boards on the bridges, trim trails, remove dead trees blocking the trails, paint the kitchen area at the derby, and trim some of the trees at Geer Hill to create a safer tie spot from our horses.

Lunch: We will return to the Derby for lunch. TETRA will provide the meat for lunch to all the workers. Please bring what you want to drink, and a dish to share.
