                   Report of Meeting of LRRETA:

    We have a plan to re-open the trail south of FM 455 with the acquisition and installation of an old iron bridge.  The bridge would traverse the gulley washout that resulted in the closing of the equestrian trail 6 years ago.  

We are looking for just the right bridge -- one with historical significance would be ideal as we could access grants for historical preservation.  Let us know if you are aware of an old Railroad bridge or something similar to the "Old Alton Bridge" in Denton that might be available. https://sites.google.com/site/trailsofdentoncounty/Home/the-trails-of-highland-village/elm-fork-trail---old-alton-bridge/old-alton-bridge

     We need your help!  We need volunteers to help raise $100,000.  This is the estimated cost to buy a bridge, move it, and install it.  

**** Please join the "Sponsor Committee for Greenfest!"****   This is our LRRETA fund raiser and we need your help to contact area businesses to sponsor the second annual, GREENFEST  celebration on September 28, below the dam, on FM 455.  

**** Come to the Sponsor Committee Kick Off Dinner *****        at Ernesto's 6:30pm on Monday August 12, 2013.  Pick up packets and information that will help us raise money for equestrian trails and our bridge! 

    Please "saddle up" and reply to the email below  --- let us know of your interest in serving on the Sponsor Committee for Greenfest or a Future Trail Ride Fund Raiser Committee.   Help us make beautiful Lake Ray Roberts a destination for equestrian trail riders!!
