With the combined effort of TETRA and NTTR (North Texas Range Riders), the new state park in Strawn, Texas is scheduling their work days in order to prepare the park for future trail rides. Bring ATVs, loppers, and chainsaws.  A dry camp will be available on Friday night; bring your own water.  No meals will be provided but Country Dollar  in Strawn has a country breakfast where all plan to assemble at 7:00 a.m.  Due to the weather, the work day will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. The group will gather at the arena near the entrance to the park.    For more information, call Barbara McKnight at 254-595-2119  with TETRA or Ron Heflin at 817-614-8979 with NTRR.

Directions to Strawn - Strawn is on Highway 16, 4 miles north of I-20.  If you are on I-20, exit to the north at exit 361.  The park is 2 miles west on FM 2372.  Watch for a brick house and a State of Texas sign on the left.

The Country Dollar is on Highway 16 about 2 blocks north of the railroad.
