Half Ass Mule Camp

Come join us for a fun filled weekend at the Half Ass Mule Camp. The Camp is located near Queen City. The camp abuts the Corp of Engineer land that surrounds Lake Wright Patman. The camp has access to miles and miles of equestrian trails that range over the 35,000 acres surrounding the lake. It is a great place to camp and trail ride. Trails can be easy or challenging. The terrain has sandy soil that is flat to hilly, with many stream and log crossings. Some trails wander along side the lake shore. For those who do not want to ride there is fishing, swimming, and shopping.

Friday’s Check In after 4:00pm.
Saturday’s Morning Check In starts at 7:15 am
Current negative Coggins required.
Saturday’s Ride out time is 9:30 am - 11:15. Lunch back at camp. Afternoon ride starts at 1:00 pm and we will break into a fast and slow group.
Sunday’s trail ride will be short and ride out time is 9:15 am.
We will have two Raffles. The winners will be
announced after Saturday’s supper.
The camp does not have trash service, please bag and pack out all trash.
Food Cost:
All Meals pay $30.00. This includes Friday’s supper, Saturday and Sunday breakfast, and Saturday supper.
Children under 10 eat free.
Lunch not included please bring your own.
Day Rider pays $15.00. This includes breakfast and supper.
Camping Fees:
RV sites $10.00 per night (RV site has electric, and water). There are 14 sites available. Be sure to bring an RV extension cord, and extra water horse.
Pens are $5.00 per night per pen. Pens are limited.
There is no charge for Primitive Camping.
The Camp has a covered Pavilion that has a restroom with a shower, and a dump station.

From Texarkana, Texas: Go South on US Hwy 59 about 15miles. You will see a Church on the right and country road 3660. Turn right on 3660. You will come to a T in the road, Turn left on 3659. Go about a quarter mile and turn right at the next church on 3559. Follow 3559 around a right angle turn. Soon you will see the fence and gate of Half Ass Mule Camp. Make a right hand turn into the gate. You are there. Check in with Jackie for parking instructions.
Don't pass the gate or you will wind up at the end of a dead end road and it is really hard to turn a big rig around down there.
From
Atlanta, Texas: Go North on US Hwy 59 about 15 miles from the Wal-Mart and Tractor Supply until you get to
County Road3660. Turn left onto 3660. The directions are the same as above from there.
