TETRA'S New Year Ride

Come join us to celebrate the coming of the New Year by riding, driving, socializing, dancing or playing dominoes. The New Year's celebration on Monday night will have a CD player so bring your favorite music.
Meals on the Ride:
Friday Supper: Everyone on their own. Cookshack will be open.
Saturday: Breakfast will be served
Lunch on the trail with the wagons (sausage wrap arounds)
Supper: H;amburgers (bring fixings)
Sunday: Breakfast: will be served
Lunch: Hot Dogs with the wagons on the trail
Supper: Smoked Turkey
Monday: Breakfast will be served
Lunch: with the wagons on the trail
Supper: Brisket (bring a dish)
Tuesday: Breakfast will be served
Wagons are welcome : The ride will leave each day at 9 am. Lunch on the trail with the wagons. Be back by 3 each day. Wagons will move about 3.5 miles per hour. Wagons will be going partly thru the park and partly down back roads around Speegleville area. If it rains, we will ride back roads only.
There will be a heated pavilion available in case of bad or cold weather. No public alcohol (per Corps of Engineers). Horse riders and wagon people welcome.

Food items needed:
Breakfast: eggs, sausage, tortillas, cheese, hash browns, hot sauce, pancake mix, bacon.
Lunch: sausage links, hot dogs, sandwich fixings (including meat), chili, cheese, bread, buns, mustard, ketchup, chips, cookies
Supper: brisket, potato salad, beans, bread corn on the cob, cole slaw, dessert, hamburger meat, buns, turkey, side dishes, dressing,

The advertised price of the ride is posted as $20.00. Each person is asked to donate what they consider the ride is worth.
The DJ will start the music for the dance New Year's Eve but is asking for someone to relieve her during the evening. Any persons joining the ride for just the dance will be asked to pay $5.00.

DIRECTIONS: From IH 35 take Hwy 6 North. Cross Lake Waco and turn right on Speegleville Road (exit ramp is marked as such), go across Mclaughlin Road, turn right at park entrance.
