TRAIL CLEAN UP and MAINTENANCE DAY

If you enjoy riding the trails at McCown Valley then come out and join us in a day of trail maintenance.
We will send the day picking up trash and trimming limbs along the trails.
Lunch will be served in the day use area courtesy of TETRA.
Bring gloves and wear sturdy shoes, bring pruning shears, limb loppers and /or handsaws all other supplies will be furnished. Please do not bring chainsaw or power saws.
If anyone would like to stay the night and ride on Sunday we will have an informal group ride Sunday morning.

From I-35 in Hillsboro, take HWY 22 west 12 miles to Whitney, exit 933 north for 2.5 miles to FM 1713. Proceed 6 miles west, following signs into campground.
McCown Valley Park. Located on the east shore at mid-lake.
From Whitney, take FM 933 north and turn left on FM 1713 Spur. The park is at the end of the road
