Benbrook River Trail Ride Westcreek Park

Come enjoy a ride at Lake Benbrook's River Trail.  TETRA has a permit to camp at the beautiful Westcreek Park located on the south end of Benbrook lake.  This park is currently not in use but has plenty of grassy areas to primitive park.  The park also has old camping sites which are available to use.  There is water for horses at the old restroom area.

Friday, arrive no earlier than 2:00PM, check in starts at 4:00PM.  Current Coggins required. 

Suggested donation:  Members-$25 non members-$30.  TETRA membership $20/individual and family $25.

Saturday ride out at 9:00am.  This will be an all-day ride with lunch planned at the equestrian site, Holiday North Park.  Water for horses will be available.

Directions: From the west off Interstate 20, to locate West Creek Circle Camp area , exit #429A go six miles (9.7 km) southwest on US Highway 377 to Farm to Market Road 1187 East, then southeast for one mile (1.6 km) to Ben Day-Murrin Road (CR 1025), then east for one mile (1.6 km) to West Creek Circle camp area. The road dead ends into the camp area.  

From the east off IH 35, to West Creek Circle Camp, from Crowley, turn south on FM 1187/Crowley Plover Rd, traveling west. Turn right on Ben Day Murrin Road (CR 1025) for one mile continue straight to West Creek Circle camp area.
